As a professional and trusted digital asset exchaneg, ABIT.com has long been focusing on creating an ideal trading environment for all users. For this reason and for the purpose of protecting user interests, we will keep tracking all listed tokens and trading pairs. For those projects who have poor operations, inactive market involvement, or have any potential safety risks, ABIT will give warnings and in serious cases may choose to remove part of its trading pairs or delist the entire token. Delisted token will not be available for trading on ABIT.com, but will still be available for withdrawal within a specific time period.
Rules of Trading Pair Removal and Token Delisting
The rules include but are not limited to:
- About Project or Project Team
1.1. Major changes have been made to the project team, product, business model, token issuing details or other key aspects, without in-time notice on ABIT official; project is sold or transferred privately
1.2. Personal information of team founders, cofounders or consultants are seriously faked or incomplete; Core team members are suspected of being involved in the manipulation of market prices, facing major legal or negative issues ( such as drug-related issues, data theft, embezzlement of funds, etc.).
1.3. Project has been notified by SEC or other national, regional jurisdiction, regulatory authorities, etc. of suspected violations of laws or regulations.
1.4.Core members have lost contact for more than 2 weeks
- About Token or Trading
2.1. Additional issuing of token or a fork chain has been made without an at least 2-week prior notice.
2.2. Daily trading volume or daily trading user number of a trading pair has been stayed at a low level for two consecutive weeks; a trading pair has no trading volume for more than 24 hours.
2.3. Project team intentionally concealed possible major events that may seriously affect the token price
2.4. The official token address of project team or project foundation were not disclosed in time on the official website or social media as agreed, or token was not used in accordance with lockup mechanism or related disclosed plans.
- About Operations
3.1.Major discrepancies in the disclosure of information or a large number of negative reports by the media
3.2.Website is inaccessible or there is no mainstream social media presences
3.3.Official social media or community has not been maintained for more than 2 weeks, or no project progress has been disclosed for more than a month (eg. development progress, version updates, team movements, etc.)
3.5.The propaganda or market behavior of project team has seriously harmed the interests of ABIT Exchange or its community.
3.6.ABIT received collective complaints from members of the project community, and the project team did not respond in a timely manner or did not make effective improvement measures.
- Project Implementation
4.1.The project development was not carried out according to the time node planned in the whitepaper, and there was no response announcements on the official website.
4.2.The public chain/protocol layer project source code(GitHub) has not been updated for more than 3 months, or project applications have not been updated for more than 3 months.
4.3.The project is suspected of illegal activities such as money laundering and fraud.
- Technical Security Issues
5.1.There might be security risks during main net switch and the project team has no corresponding risk management solution.
5.2.Smart contract code is vulnerable to leaking risks
5.3.Project blockchain was attacked by 51% attacks.
Procedures of Trading Pair Removal and Token Delisting
ABIT will make monthly announcement presenting the list of trading pairs and tokens that will be delisted. The specific time node or time range will be indicated in the overall announcement or independent announcement. However, as the risk level or each token is different, there is a possibility of delisting a trading pair or token immediately without prior notice.
Creating a good trading environment is inseparable from the support and help from all ABIT users. Users are more than welcome to provide us newest updates on various projects to assist us in reviewing. It might be hard to avoid causing inconvenience for part of the users when delist a token or trading pair. We sincerely apologize and wish that all users could have a safe trading environment.
